Insights & ideas

Waseem AlShikh's work centers on making generative AI genuinely useful in enterprise settings rather than chasing consumer AGI hype. He argues that while the consumer market pursues the latest AGI trends, the enterprise roadmap for deploying generative AI looks fundamentally different, and he lays out Writer's approach to moving AI from hype to production inside real organizations [3]. His technical thinking extends to how models can improve themselves: he is a co-author of research proposing self-improving large language models trained through reflection, retry, and reward mechanisms within a reinforcement learning framework [1]. He also traces his engagement with computer science to early efforts building summarization tools, reflec
