Tom Bachant is co-founder and CEO of Unthread[1][4]. Bachant previously founded Dashride, which was acquired by Cruise in 2018[2][7], and was named to Forbes 30 Under 30[2]. Bachant holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Connecticut[11]. Prior to Unthread, Bachant served as Senior Engineering Manager at Cruise from October 2018 to February 2021[6] and founded and served as CEO of Everyspace from February 2021 to September 2022[5]. Bachant has also served as Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund since September 2023[3]. Bachant is a public transit and housing advocate[2].
