Ben Sun

Benjamin Sun is a Partner and Co-CIO at Primary Venture Partners[1], an early stage venture capital fund based in New York City[4]. He co-founded Primary Venture Partners in January 2013[5]. Sun previously founded Community Connect Inc., where he served as President and CEO for 12 years[4]. At Community Connect, he co-founded a network of social networking sites including AsianAvenue.com, BlackPlanet.com, and MiGente.com[4]. As an investor, Sun participated in early rounds of companies including Jet.com, which was acquired by Walmart for $3.3 billion, and Coupang[4]. Sun serves as a board member at multiple companies, including Coupang[7], Dandy[8], Chief[9], and Slice[10]. He is also a partner at LaunchTime LLC[11] and co-founder and board member at Fundedbuy[12]. Sun holds a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan[13].
