Alon Horev

Alon Horev is co-founder and CTO at VAST Data[1][3]. His professional background includes experience across storage and data infrastructure companies. He served as a software developer in the Israel Defense Forces from 2006 to 2009[10], followed by a role as software engineer at XIV (IBM) from 2009 to 2011[9]. Horev then worked as senior software engineer at Intucell from 2011 to 2013[8], and as data team lead at Cisco from 2013 to 2016[7]. He founded DigData in July 2015[6], which he led until February 2016[6], when he became co-founder and CTO of VAST Data[5]. According to his professional profile, his focus is on taking products and teams from inception to reality[4]. Horev is self-taught in computer science[11].
