- GDCI publishes the Global Street Design Guide, "created with the input of experts from 72 cities in 42 countries", offered in translations including Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic.[7]
Partnerships
- Originally a program of NACTO, GDCI became in 2022 an independent project of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, a nonprofit organization.[5]

- Global Designing Cities Initiative was founded in 2014 by Janette Sadik-Khan and operates under the guidance of Director Skye Duncan.[4]
