Overview

Circuit & Chisel is a New York, NY-based company building the incentives layer for the agentic AI economy.[1] The company develops ATXP, the Agent Transaction Protocol, described as a new layer of internet infrastructure built for agents that gives them wallets and rails and lets them discover services, verify access and settle payments automatically.[2] Circuit & Chisel was co-founded by Louis Amira and David Noël-Romas, who previously worked at Stripe and started the company because AI agents had no way to navigate the web, no ability to pay for the tools they needed, and no infrastructure to act independently.[3] According to the company, ATXP is being built with pioneers from Stripe, Coinbase, Solana, Google, and other organizations, with developer documentation available at docs.atxp.ai.[4]
