Vlad Shumlin

Overview

Vlad Shumlin is Co-Founder and CTO at Firmbase, a position held since 2021[1][2]. Shumlin's background includes software development and leadership roles within the Israel Defense Forces from 2011 to 2018, progressing from Software Developer to Section Head[5][6][7]. Between military service and founding Firmbase, Shumlin worked as an R&D Group Leader at Elbit Systems Ltd from 2018 to 2019[4] and as a Software Engineering Consultant from 2019 to 2020[3]. Shumlin holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Bar-Ilan University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Haifa[10][11]. An MBA from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem was completed in 2019[9].
