Venkat Chary

Overview

Venkat Chary is the founder of Zenon, a position held since 2019[3]. Chary holds concurrent roles as General Partner at WillowTree Ventures since 2021[2] and Entrepreneur In Residence at .406 Ventures since September 2018[5]. Chary also serves as a Board Member at ampliFI Loyalty Solutions since December 2018[4]. Prior to founding Zenon, Chary worked at American Express from March 1998 to July 2018 as EVP, Global Information Management and Global Chief Data & Analytics Officer[8], followed by a position as Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company from July 2018 to September 2019[7]. Chary has provided angel investment and advisory services to multiple startups including Node.io, Terbium Labs, Simon Data, Indico.io, Telmai, Promethium, and Bobsled between January 2018 and April 2023[6]. Chary holds a Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis and Quantitative Methods from the University of Rochester[9], along with bachelor's degrees in Molecular Genetics[10] and Economics[11] from the same institution.
