Tyson Chen is a co-founder of Avoca, an AI sales and contact center agent platform for home services companies [1][2]. He attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a BS in Computer Science from 2013 to 2017 [11]. During his undergraduate years, Chen worked as a Software Engineering Intern at Microsoft [10] and conducted research at MIT Media Lab [9]. After graduation, he served as an AI Researcher at MIT's Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory from 2015 to 2017 [7]. Chen then joined The Boston Consulting Group as a Consultant from 2017 to 2019 [6], followed by roles at Nuro as Product Operations Manager and Product Manager between 2019 and 2022 [4][5].
