Overview
Shujah A. is founder of Celeste, established in November 2022[5]. Shujah A. holds a Doctor of Law degree from Brooklyn Law School awarded in 2008[10] and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology completed in 2002[11]. Prior to founding Celeste, Shujah A. served as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Roxe from July 2021 to November 2022[6], and held the position of General Counsel at CapVenture Partners from June 2020 to August 2021[7]. Earlier roles included Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Co-Chief Compliance Officer at Biz2Credit from June 2017 to June 2020[8], and In-House Counsel at Nexlend Capital Partners, LLC from November 2015 to June 2017[9]. Shujah A. currently serves as President of Uphold Markets[2], Global Head of Regulatory Affairs and Counsel at Uphold[3], and Member of the Board of Advisors at Akemona, Inc.[4]
