I build things. Sometimes that's a company from scratch, sometimes it's the distributed system at the heart of one, sometimes it's the engineering team that makes it all go. Over 25 years I've done all three — often at the same time. My career has moved between founding companies and operating inside large ones. I co-founded Upscale AI, Ketch, and Brandscreen. I was a founding engineer at LatinX (Habu) and early technical partner at super{set} venture studio. I led new venture architecture and engineering at Krux (acquired by Salesforce) and worked at Microsoft in Redmond early in my career.
