Scott Rosenberg is Co-Founder and CEO of 257[1], a venture-backed clean energy data company that uses large data sets and machine learning to help energy companies engage homeowners in residential electrification[2]. Rosenberg has over 25 years of experience in media, ads, and consumer technology, beginning as an engineer before moving into product, revenue, and general management roles[2]. At Roku Inc., Rosenberg held multiple positions from 2012 to 2022, including VP Advertising & Content Distribution[6], SVP Advertising[5], and SVP Platform Business[4], where Rosenberg built and ran a $2 billion-plus media business with over 1,000 employees[2]. Prior to Roku, Rosenberg was CEO and Co-Founder of Umami Co from 2010 to 2012[9] and held the position of VP Ad Sales at Rovi Corporation[10]. Rosenberg holds a BSE in Computer Science from Princeton University[13], an MBA and MS in Computer Science from MIT Sloan School of Management[11], and studied Computer Science as a Fulbright Fellow at Aizu Wakamatsu University[12].
