Overview
Sanaz Yashar is Co-Founder and CEO of Zafran Security, a position held since November 2022[1][2]. Prior to founding Zafran Security, Yashar served as Senior Manager at Mandiant from November 2021 to November 2022[3]. Yashar's earlier experience includes roles as Manager at FireEye, Inc. from October 2017 to March 2022[4] and Director of Intelligence at Cybereason from September 2016 to October 2017[5]. Yashar spent fifteen years in Israeli Military Intelligence as Head of Department from October 2001 to September 2016[6]. Yashar holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Tel Aviv University, completed between 1999 and 2002[8], and an MBA from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, earned between 2008 and 2010[9].
