Rajiv J. Shah serves as President of The Rockefeller Foundation[1][2], a position Shah has held since March 2017[3]. Shah's career spans global health and development work, including service as Administrator of USAID from January 2009 to January 2015[5] and as Director at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation from January 2001 to January 2009[6]. Between these roles, Shah founded and served as Managing Partner of Latitude Capital Group from January 2015 to March 2017[4]. Shah holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine[8], a Master of Arts in Health Care Management and Economics from The Wharton School[7], and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Michigan[9].
