Rajesh Swaminathan

Overview

Rajesh Swaminathan is a Partner at Khosla Ventures[1] focused on investing in entrepreneurs building transformative deep-tech companies in climatech[2]. Swaminathan has held the Partner position since January 2020[3]. Prior to joining Khosla Ventures, Swaminathan served as Head of Applied Ventures from June 2018 to January 2020[4], having previously worked at Applied Ventures as Investment Director from March 2015 to June 2018[5] and Investment Manager from September 2009 to June 2015[6]. Earlier career experience includes roles as Senior Associate at Third Point Ventures[7] and Consultant at Khosla Ventures[8]. Swaminathan holds an MBA from Harvard Business School[11], an MS in Electronics/MEMS Reliability from the University of Maryland[12], and a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras[13].
