Overview
Mathur is Vice President at DeVC as of December 2025, having previously served as Associate Vice President at the firm from May 2024 to November 2025.[1][3][4] Mathur founded Verak in October 2020, which was acquired within 2.5 years and subsequently became part of InsuranceDekho, where Mathur held the position of Associate Director from April 2023 to April 2024.[2][5][6] Prior to founding Verak, Mathur worked as an Analyst at FinTech Innovation Lab and as a Research Analyst at Insureblocks, along with roles in insurance product management.[7][9][10] Mathur holds a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick and completed secondary education at The Cathedral and John Connon School and Campion School, Mumbai.[11][12][13] Mathur's investment focus spans vertical AI applications in healthcare, financial services, construction, and logistics, as well as consumer sectors.[2]
