Zeier holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg[12], completed a Diplom-Kaufmann/MBA from Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg[13], and was a Visiting Scholar in Computer Science at Stanford University from 2010 to 2011[11]. Zeier has served as Honorary University Professor for Enterprise, SAP & AI at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg since June 2013[4].
