Panagiotis Kakatsos MD

Overview

Panagiotis Kakatsos holds an MD from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine[9] and completed undergraduate studies in Biology and Chemistry at Columbia University[10]. Kakatsos served as Attending Physician at NYC Health + Hospitals from November 2017 to November 2019[6], following a five-year residency in psychiatry at the same institution from July 2012 to July 2017[7]. Kakatsos co-founded and served as CEO of Hygeia Health GR from January 2018 to December 2020, which was subsequently acquired by Psycharg[5], and later co-founded and led Σωρανός Ὑγεία as CEO from April 2020 until its acquisition by Qingdao United Family Hospital in July 2023[4]. Since January 2025, Kakatsos has served as CEO and co-founder of Valene Health, a TechStars Winter 2025 cohort company[1][2]. Kakatsos has also held a position as Strategic Advisor at multiple companies since January 2023[3] and completed Harvard Business School's Advanced Management Program in 2025[8].
