Nico Jimenez

Overview

Nico Jimenez is the founder and CEO of Mathpix[1][2], a company that builds infrastructure for creating, searching, and publishing STEM content[2]. Jimenez has been leading Mathpix since February 2016[3]. Prior to founding Mathpix, Jimenez worked as a Deep Learning Scientist at 4Catalyzer from July 2015 to February 2016[4]. Jimenez holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Stanford University, completed between 2013 and 2018[10], and also earned a Master's Degree in Computational Mathematics from Stanford University between 2013 and 2014[11]. Jimenez's earlier experience includes machine learning research at Johns Hopkins University[7], bioinformatics research at MIT[8], and software engineering at UC Santa Barbara[9].
