Justin Manikas

Overview

Justin Manikas serves as VP Partnerships & Co-founder at Nomad Data, a position held since June 2021[1][3]. Manikas is a product leader in alternative data and fintech with prior experience as a desk strategist and trader on the sell-side[2]. Manikas earned a Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University between 2004 and 2008[11] and participated in a study and work abroad program at Boston University in 2006[12]. Before co-founding Nomad Data, Manikas held the position of Director of Product Management at Dataminr from November 2011 to November 2016[5], followed by Senior Director of Alternative Data Products at TravelClick from November 2016 to June 2021[4]. Earlier career experience includes roles at RBC Capital Markets spanning Global Debt Markets, Global Markets rotation, and Institutional Equities Trading in the Technology, Media & Telecom Group between 2007 and 2011[6][7][8], as well as internships at Citi and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts[9][10].
