Julie Baker

Overview

Julie Baker is the Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Ursa Space Systems, a Geospatial AI company[1][2]. Baker holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University[9] and has over a decade of experience building Ursa Space from its inception[2]. Prior to founding Ursa Space Systems in January 2015[3], Baker served as Vice President of Cyber Technology at Architecture Technology Corporation from August 1999 to December 2014[4]. Baker's earlier career included roles as Principal Scientist at Odyssey Research Associates[5], Software Consultant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA[6], Software Consultant at Applied Decision Analysis[7], and Software Analyst at Daniel H. Wagner, Associates[8]. Baker also completed coursework in Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley[10] and the University of New Mexico[11].
