Jason Ban

Overview

Jason Ban holds the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Pagaya[1][2]. Ban joined Pagaya in March 2021 as Senior Counsel[5] and progressed through several roles including Chief Funds Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer[4] before assuming the current position in June 2023[2]. Prior to joining Pagaya, Ban worked at Bank of America as Director and Assistant General Counsel from July 2010 to March 2021[6]. Ban also held positions at Laurus-Valens as Managing Director, Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer from March 2004 to January 2010[8], with concurrent work as Principal at Century Tree Management[9]. Ban holds a JD in Law from Boston University School of Law[11], an MBA in Business Administration from Questrom School of Business at Boston University[10], and a BBA in Business Administration from Emory University's Goizueta Business School[12].
