James Floyd Jr. is an Operating Partner in Venture Capital at Cleveland Avenue, a position held since February 2019.[1][3] Floyd previously spent over three decades at McDonald's Corporation, serving as Vice President of U.S. Operations Strategic Execution & Scale from 1988 to December 2018,[4] and earlier as VP and General Manager of McDonald's Operating Company from May 2010 to January 2015.[5] In those roles, Floyd led a business unit comprising over 600 locations generating more than $3 billion in revenue.[2] Floyd's earlier career included positions at Procter & Gamble as a Manager from June 1985 to May 1988[6] and at IBM in Marketing from June 1984 to June 1985.[7] Floyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, completed in December 1985,[8] and completed an Executive Program at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in September 2008.[9]
