Coman holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Wisconsin-Madison[10] and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Occidental College[12]. Coman serves as a Venture Partner at ARCH Venture Partners[1], a position held since February 2024[3], having previously worked as an Associate at the firm from September 2020 to March 2024[4]. As a trained PhD neuroscientist, Coman focuses on complex areas of biology where mechanistic insight can enable differentiated medicines, with particular interest in precision medicine for women's biology, sleep, neuroscience, and emerging technologies that expand understanding and improvement of human health[2]. Coman co-founded Vilya, serving in roles including Head of Business Operations, VP of Business Development, and Co-Founder and Advisor from March 2022 to April 2025[6][7][5].
