Huafeng Xu

Overview

Huafeng Xu is founder and CEO at Fathom Therapeutics [1][2]. Xu previously served as Chief Technology Officer at Roivant Discovery from March 2021 to November 2022 [3] and held the same position at Silicon Therapeutics from September 2018 to March 2021 [4]. Earlier in their career, Xu spent over a decade as a Research Scientist at D. E. Shaw Research from June 2005 to December 2017 [5]. Xu also worked as a Research Scientist at 3-Dimensional Pharmaceuticals Inc. from September 2001 to May 2003 [8] and held a postdoctoral researcher position at UCSF from September 2003 to May 2005 [7]. Xu earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry and Physics from Columbia University between 1997 and 2001 [10] and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Peking University between 1992 and 1997 [11].
