Evan Beard

Evan Beard is co-founder and CEO of Standard Bots[1], an AI-native industrial robotics company[3]. Standard Bots has raised $260 million from investors including General Catalyst and Amazon, and reached a valuation of $1 billion in 2026[3]. The company has deployments at Lockheed Martin, Verizon, NASA, and hundreds of other manufacturers[3]. Beard previously co-founded Etacts, which was acquired by Salesforce[3], and served as Senior Member of Technical Staff at Salesforce[7]. He also co-founded Gridtech[6] and A Plus[5]. Beard has been named to Forbes' "30 Under 30" and Business Insider's "Most Inspiring and Influential People in New York Tech"[3]. He holds a B.S. with Distinction in Economics and Computer Science from Duke University[9], and studied at Universitat Politècnica de València[10] and the London School of Economics and Political Science[11].
