Eric Watson

Overview

Eric Watson serves as Chief Legal Officer at Pagaya[1][2]. Watson previously held the position of Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Doma from July 2019 to May 2023[3]. Prior to that role, Watson served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary at Mosaic from July 2016 to July 2019[4]. Watson's earlier experience includes positions as Deputy General Counsel at SoFi[5], Consulting Attorney at Sallie Mae[6], and Vice President, Secretary and Associate General Counsel at Navient Corporation from November 2002 to September 2014[7]. Watson began their legal career as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom from March 1998 to November 2002[8] and at Coopers & Lybrand from September 1995 to March 1998[9]. Watson holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School[10] and a BA in Economics from Rutgers University[11].
