Demetri M.

Overview

Demetri M. is Co-Founder and CEO at Nephrogen, a position held since September 2022[1][3]. Demetri M. holds a Bachelor of Science in Computational Biology with a minor in German Studies from Stanford University[9] and a Master of Science in Biology from Stanford University[8]. Prior to founding Nephrogen, Demetri M. worked as an Undergraduate and Graduate Student Researcher at Stanford University from September 2016 to September 2022[4], and held a position as Summer Research Intern in the George Church Lab at Harvard Medical School in 2020[6]. Earlier research experience includes work as a Research Assistant in the Joseph Bonventre Lab at Brigham and Women's Hospital from June 2014 to May 2016[7]. Demetri M. also served as a Professional Athlete for the Cyprus National Ski Team from July 2020 to June 2022[5].
