Deepali Khanna

Overview

Deepali Khanna serves as Senior Vice President at The Rockefeller Foundation[1][3]. As Head of The Rockefeller Foundation's Asia Regional Office, Khanna oversees efforts to amplify the Foundation's impact and initiatives to make opportunities universal and sustainable, leading efforts to build and sustain networks with different institutions, leverage financing and collaborations, innovative grants, thought leadership and information on trends driving the Asian continent's development[2]. Khanna led engagement with India's G20 presidency to advance global economic equity, public health, clean energy, and sustainable food systems[2]. Prior to the current role, Khanna held positions as Vice President[4] and Managing Director for Asia[5] at The Rockefeller Foundation, as well as Managing Director for Africa[6]. Earlier experience includes roles at the Mastercard Foundation as Director of Youth Learning[8] and at Plan International as Regional Director for Eastern & Southern Africa[9] and Country Director in Vietnam[10]. Khanna holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Delhi University[11].
