Ash Tewari, MD

Overview

Ash Tewari is Chairman of Urology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai [1][4]. Tewari also serves as Surgeon-In-Chief at Tisch Cancer Hospital at Mount Sinai Health System [3]. Previously, Tewari held the position of Ronald P. Lynch Professor of Urologic Oncology and Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medical College [5][6], where Tewari directed the Institute of Prostate Cancer at New York Presbyterian Hospital and the LeFrak Center for Robotic Surgery [2][8]. Tewari completed a fellowship in urologic oncology at the University of Florida from 1994 to 1997 [10][11] and a residency in urology at Henry Ford Health System from 1999 to 2003 [9]. Tewari holds an MBBS from GSVM Medical College [13] and a Master of Surgery in Urology from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences [12].
