Andrew Newman is Founder and CTO at ReasonLabs[1][3]. Newman co-founded GIANT Company Software, an anti-spyware firm acquired by Microsoft[2][7], and subsequently served as Lead Security Program Manager for Windows Defender at Microsoft from 2004 to 2008[6]. After departing Microsoft, Newman founded Sortuva Company Inc. from 2008 to 2010[5] and Red Foundry from 2010 to 2012[4]. Newman founded Reason Software Company in 2015, which was later acquired and became ReasonLabs[2]. Newman holds a BA in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Rhode Island[9].
