Overview

Amit Patel is co-founder and CEO of Octozi[1], a New York startup automating clinical trial data workflows[1]. Patel holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Materials Engineering from Stanford University[11]. Prior to founding Octozi in January 2023[3], Patel held product leadership roles at major technology companies, including Product Leader at Google from January 2018 to August 2020[7] and Head of Product Management for X Project at Google from March 2016 to January 2018[8]. Patel also served as Product Management Lead at Facebook from August 2020 to August 2021[6]. Earlier career positions included Head of Product at Tempo from August 2021 to December 2022[5], Senior Product Manager at Citrix from October 2014 to March 2016[9], and Product Strategy roles at Symantec from August 2011 to October 2014[10]. Patel is a member of Gaingels as of January 2022[4].
