Amit Patel

Amit Patel is co-founder and CEO of Octozi[1], a New York-based startup focused on automating clinical trial data workflows[1]. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Materials Engineering from Stanford University[11]. Patel's career includes product leadership roles at major technology companies: he served as Head of Product Management for X Project at Google from March 2016 to January 2018[8], followed by a position as Product Leader at Google from January 2018 to August 2020[7]. He then worked as Product Management Lead at Facebook from August 2020 to August 2021[6]. Before founding Octozi in January 2023[3], Patel was Head of Product at Tempo from August 2021 to December 2022[5]. He is also a member of Gaingels[4]. His earlier career included roles at Citrix as Senior Product Manager[9] and at Symantec in Product Strategy[10].
