Alex Liao is Founder & CEO at Dragoneye, a position held since June 2023[1][2]. Liao holds a M.S. in Physics and dual B.A. in Physics and B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, completed between 2013 and 2017[9]. Prior to founding Dragoneye, Liao worked as a Software Engineer at Facebook from September 2017 to July 2020[4], and subsequently at Jane Street from July 2020 to February 2021[3]. Liao also served as Head Teaching Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from August 2014 to December 2016[6] and as Lecturer at the University of Maryland College Park in May 2017[5]. Liao participated in Y Combinator between January and April 2024[10].
