Ajit Patil

Overview

Ajit Patil is co-founder at DeepTek, a position held since September 2017[1][2]. Patil's prior experience includes co-founding SmartCommute, now known as Lithium Urban Technologies, from September 2013 to April 2021[3]. Earlier career roles included president of NTTDATA Global Technology Services from April 2012 to March 2013[5] and mobile strategy consultant at NTTDATA from April 2013 to March 2014[4]. Patil co-founded and served as CEO of Vertex Software Pvt. Ltd. from April 1996 to March 2012[6]. Earlier positions included software engineer at Fujitsu ICIM from 1994 to 1995[7] and trainee engineer at Tata Motors from 1991 to 1992[8]. Patil holds an MTech in Industrial Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, earned from 1992 to 1994[9], and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from COEP Technological University, completed from 1988 to 1992[10].
