Adrianna Ma

Overview

Adrianna Ma serves as Operating Partner at Index Ventures[1], a position Ma has held since October 2021[3]. In this role, Ma is responsible for Index's operations including people and human resources, finance, information technology, investor relations, and legal and compliance matters, while also facilitating the investment process and overseeing fundraising and capital partnering activities[2]. Prior to joining Index Ventures as Chief Operating Officer in September 2020[4], Ma was a Managing Partner at Fremont Group from May 2015 to June 2019[6], where Ma oversaw a portfolio of actively managed funds and directly owned public and private securities, and chaired the investment advisory committee[2]. Ma's earlier career included a decade at General Atlantic as Managing Director from July 2005 to April 2015[7], and roles at Morgan Stanley as Vice President of M&A[8], Hewlett-Packard as Project Manager[9], and MIT Lincoln Laboratory as Research Associate[10]. Ma holds a B.S. and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT[11] and an MBA from Harvard Business School[12].
