Castellum.AI is a New York City company founded in 2019[2] that provides financial crime compliance software[1]. The company was cofounded by Peter Piatetsky, a former US Treasury regulator, and an Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator alum[1]. Castellum.AI's platform uses AI agents to conduct anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) screening[1]. The system accesses more than 200,000 global sources that are refreshed every five minutes[1].
